The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults is the ordinary process by which a person is received into full communion with the Catholic Church. If you are interested in becoming Catholic or learning more about the Catholic faith, please contact your local parish.

Order of the Catechumenate
(For those who have not been baptized)
¿Y si mi prometido no es católico?
¿Y si mi prometido no es católico?
¿Y si mi prometido no es católico?
¿Y si mi prometido no es católico?
Those adults who have been baptized (whether in the Catholic Catholic or another ecclesial community), but have not yet received all of the Sacraments of Initiation (Confirmation and Eucharist), are also invited to OCIA and are referred to as "candidates". Candidates and catechumens often go through the OCIA process together, though there are some ritual differences.
Please contact your local parish to inquire about becoming a candidate
for full communion with the Catholic Church.
