For Basic Catechist Certification, participants must complete "The Catechism in a Year" podcast from Ascension Press, read the Basic Catechist Certification document, and maintain an annual five-hour professional development requirement.

For certification, participants must complete all five courses and maintain an annual ten-hour professional development requirement.
Courses will be offered annually and may be completed in a single-year cycle or over a multi-year period.
