The call to marriage is a call to holiness. The goal of married life is to be a helpmate in arriving at the marriage feast of the Lamb in heavenly glory. As a sacrament, marriage is a conduit of grace for the world. St. John Paul II said, "As the family goes…so goes the world in which we live," and at the heart of family life is the love of a husband and wife. The stronger and healthier marriages are, the healthier the whole world will become. Please explore the resources below to assist you and your spouse in continually strengthening your marriage for the mutual journey to the heavenly wedding feast.

"There is no relationship between human beings so close as that of husband and wife, if they are united as they ought to be…The love of husband and wife is the force that welds society together. Men will take up arms and even sacrifice their lives for the sake of this love." - St. John Chrysostom
